1. About Two Wishes

Two Wishes Private Limited (“Two Wishes”) is a digital celebration platform that helps users create and send invitations, manage RSVPs, give and receive monetary gifts, and contribute to charitable causes — all in one place.

We are a registered business entity in India, operating as a digital facilitator.
Two Wishes is not a charity, financial institution, or payment processor. We enable users (“Hosts”) to collect monetary contributions from their guests (“Contributors”) and, if they choose, direct a portion of those contributions to verified charitable organizations.

PLEASE READ THESE “TERMS AND CONDITIONS” CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE WEBSITE. BY ACCESSING AND USING THE WEBSITE, YOU ACCEPT AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS OF SERVICE AND OUR PERSONAL DATA PRIVACY POLICY ("PRIVACY POLICY"), AS AMENDED FROM TIME TO TIME. IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND THE PRIVACY POLICY, DO NOT PROCEED TO USE THIS WEBSITE.

2. Eligibility

By using the Platform, you confirm that you:

  • Are at least 18 years of age,

  • Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements, and

  • Will use the Platform in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws.

If you use Two Wishes on behalf of a company, event, or another person, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity or individual to these Terms.

3. Services Provided

Through the Platform, Two Wishes enables you to:

  • Design and share digital invitations;

  • Manage event RSVPs and communications;

  • Receive and send monetary gifts;

  • Facilitate charitable donations; and

  • Track and manage contributions transparently.

Two Wishes may modify or discontinue certain services at any time without notice.

4. Accounts

Certain features require creating a user account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, up-to-date information;

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your credentials; and

  • Accept responsibility for all actions under your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the Platform.

5. Contributions, Gifts, and Donations

When a Contributor makes a payment through Two Wishes, the transaction is processed securely via third-party payment gateways.
Each contribution may be split to the host account and charity account — or a combination of both — based on the Host’s preferences.

5.1 Contributions to Hosts

  • Hosts are required to register an account on the Website to become a registered user ("Registered User") in order to send event invitations to Guests. Hosts must be 18 years of age or over.

  • Hosts can receive monetary gifts directly from guests.

  • Such gifts are personal payments made voluntarily by Contributors and are processed through a third-party payment gateway.

  • These funds are credited to the Host’s designated account (after deducting the Two Wishes service fee and any payment-gateway charges).

  • Hosts are responsible for declaring or reporting such income as required by law.

  • ​Two Wishes Pvt Ltd does not independently verify or assess the identity of each person or entity who applies to become a Registered User of the Website. If you receive an invitation sent via the Website from a Host who is unknown to you and are asked to make a contribution of Gift Money, you should exercise caution in deciding whether or not to make a donation.

  • A Guest can reply to an invitation and send Gift Money without registering on the Website as a Registered User. However, by replying to an invitation and sending Gift Money, the Guest accepts and agrees to be bound by these Terms of Service.

  • By registering as a Registered User, a Guest can track updates to the invitation and see the amount of Gift Money contributed to the Event Fund.

5.2 Contributions to Charitable Causes

  • Hosts may choose to direct all or a portion of contributions to one or more verified charitable organizations listed on the Platform.

  • If the host is a foreign passport holder, they can only contribute to charities that are FCRA compliant. FCRA compliant charities are labelled on the website.

  • The allocation of contributions (percentage retained by Host vs. percentage donated to charity) is set by the Host during event setup.

  • Two Wishes transfers the designated donation amount to the selected organization(s) and retains a 5% service fee on the total contribution.

5.3 Transparency & Verification

Two Wishes works only with verified charitable partners.
While we make reasonable efforts to ensure that listed organizations are legitimate, we cannot control or guarantee how each organization uses donated funds after transfer.

5.4 Service Fee

Two Wishes retains a 5% service fee on every contribution made through the Platform (whether to Hosts, charities, or both).
This fee supports:

  • Platform hosting and development,

  • Secure payment processing,

  • Charity verification and maintenance, and

  • Customer support.​

6. Receipts and Acknowledgements

  • Contributors will receive an electronic receipt confirming their contribution.

  • For contributions directed to charities, tax-deduction receipts (e.g., Section 80G certificates) will be provided only if the partner organization is authorized to issue them.

  • Two Wishes does not independently issue tax receipts.

7. Refunds and Cancellations

  • All contributions, gifts, and donations are processed in real time and are non-refundable once confirmed.
    Refunds are permitted only in cases of:

  • Duplicate payments caused by technical errors, or

  • Unauthorized transactions (subject to verification by the payment gateway).

  • Refunds for such cases will be initiated within 7–10 business days.

8. Content and Intellectual Property

  • All card designs, illustrations, templates, text, software, and other materials on the Platform are the exclusive property of Two Wishes or its licensors.

  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use these assets solely for personal, non-commercial event purposes.

  • You may not:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, or resell Two Wishes content;

  • Use designs or code outside the Platform; or

  • Create derivative works for commercial use.

9. User Content

  • Users may upload event information, images, or messages.
    By doing so, you:

  • Represent that you have all necessary rights and permissions, and

  • Grant Two Wishes a limited, non-exclusive right to display and process this content solely to provide our services.

  • We may remove content that is unlawful, offensive, or violates these Terms.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

  • We respect your privacy.

  • All data collected (such as guest information, payment details, and donation records) is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  • Two Wishes complies with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and employs reasonable safeguards to protect your information.
    We do not sell or share your personal data with unaffiliated third parties for marketing purposes.

  •  You are responsible for safeguarding any passwords used to access your Registered User account and the Website, and shall take all necessary steps to ensure that no one other than you has access to your Registered User account and password. You shall promptly notify us by email if you believe that your password or account has been compromised.

11. Platform Fees and Payment Handling

  • All transactions on Two Wishes are subject to:

  • The 5% service fee retained by Two Wishes;

  • Applicable payment-gateway charges (as per the gateway’s terms); and

  • Applicable taxes, if any.

  • The final amount visible to Contributors at checkout includes all such fees, unless otherwise specified.

12. Liability and Disclaimers

  • Two Wishes provides the Platform on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
    To the fullest extent permitted by law, Two Wishes is not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages;

  • Payment failures, delays, or errors by third-party gateways;

  • Misuse of funds by Hosts or charities; or

  • Any loss arising from reliance on content displayed on the Platform.

  • You use the Platform at your own risk.

13. Taxes and Legal Compliance

  • Hosts are solely responsible for any taxes or reporting obligations arising from the gifts they receive.

  • Charitable organizations are responsible for compliance with all applicable laws governing donations.

  • Two Wishes does not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Two Wishes, its affiliates, employees, and partners and hold us harmless against any liability, loss, expenses, costs or damages (including direct, indirect, or consequential losses, whether economic or otherwise, loss of profit, loss of reputation and all interest, claims, expenses, damages and other payments, penalties and legal and other professional costs and expenses) arising out of

  • Your use or misuse of the Platform,

  • Your violation of these Terms and Conditions or

  • Any breach of third-party rights.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
    Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mumbai, India

  • Where possible, parties agree to attempt amicable resolution before initiating formal legal proceedings.

16. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these Terms periodically.

  • The latest version will always be available on our website, and continued use of the Platform signifies acceptance of any changes.
